I grew up 30 years civil war in Sri Lanka and it was connected to me.

Don’t know what everyone’s reasons are for watching verticals, mine is a get-a-way. Something happens at work, home, grocery store, driving down the highway, at some point we all need a stress relief break! Mine is verticals. See a friendly face, a character you love to hate, a developing love story, or goofy characters & storylines to make me laugh. Whatever it is, I get my few minutes to reset and I’m back in the game. Thanks vertical world! I’m sane for another day!

This article really stuck with me. As someone who hosts people from all over the world here in Italy, I see every day how everyone watches stories in 2-minute breaks between real life. Bitesized TV isn’t less serious, it’s just more honest about our attention now. The behind-the-scenes photo you used says it all – even traditional sets now have to think vertical. Do you think this will give actors more creative freedom? Really loved this piece.
